The Spanish language version of the film premiered in Madrid in October. Gustavo Ron's "Ways to Live Forever" adapted from the highly acclaimed children's book by Sally Nicholls. It tells the story of Sam, a boy with leukaemia who wants to live out all his dreams before he dies. He decides to write a diary with his best friend Felix. Alex plays Felix.
